The R-PET raw material used for these products is composed of post-consumer PET deriving from R-PET food packaging and milk bottles. The future foresees the exclusive use of post-consumer PET from food packaging.

The post-consumer items recycled and extruded by Ilip have a grey colour due to the colour mix of the materials used. The grey colour, in addition to enhancing the appearance of the product, facilitates identification in sorting centers during the recycling phase. Furthermore, it reduces the risk of reaching temperatures above 65°C on the product, as happens with black materials.

It is important to remember that R-PET starts to deform with temperatures above 65°C, for this reason it is very important that the products are stored in suitable areas, inside the packaging and not exposed to the sun . Discover how
