HortiPack thermoformed products, made from R-PET or PS, offer maximum traceability, certified quality and sustainability, making a concrete contribution to the circular economy.

The R-PET we use comes from post-consumer PET, obtained from food packaging and milk bottles. This material, recycled and extruded internally by Ilip, has a characteristic grey colour, which is a natural result of the mixture of the original materials.

The grey colour enhances the packaging design and facilitates identification in sorting centres during recycling. It also reduces the risk of overheating in sunlight compared to black materials.

As R-PET tends to deform above 65°C, it is essential to ensure correct storage conditions, keeping the products inside the packaging and away from direct exposure to sunlight. Discover how
